2019: Played in 12 games with five starts in the middle of the season in his final campaign on College Hill...one of three Leopards to earn Academic All-Patriot League laurels...also achieved CoSIDA Academic All-District II honors...selected as the winner of the team's Leopard Award...made 34 tackles with 4.5 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks...recovered a fumble at Monmouth (9/7)...registered a career-high six tackles at Albany (9/21)...blocked a kick vs. Colgate (11/16)...one of 31 Leopards named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, holding a 3.68 semester GPA.

2018: Played in all 11 games in junior season...earned the first start of his career at Army (11/10) where he made three tackles...finished with 18 tackles on the season, including one tackle for loss...figured prominently in the defensive line rotation and on special teams...one of 27 Leopards selected to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll after securing a 3.68 semester GPA.

2017: Played in the final seven games of the season, seeing time on special teams and at defensive end...made three tackles in a win over Fordham (10/7)...forced a fumble and registered a tackle for loss against Colgate (11/11).

2016: Played in nine games, seeing time on special teams...handled one kick return against Villanova (9/24) which he took back nine yards...named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll with a 3.48 GPA.

AT CHATHAM: Two-time All-NJAC honoree who played linebacker and tight end...named to Morris County Coaches All-County Top 33 Team in 2014 and 2015 when he was the team defensive MVP...advanced to the 2015 Group 3 North 2 state finals...made 86 tackles (54 solo) with 12 tackles for loss with 5.5 sacks as a senior...caught 15 balls for 185 yards and five touchdowns in 2015...Morris County National Football Foundation Scholar-Athlete in 2015...All-NJAC United Second-Team selection in baseball in 2015, playing at first base...led baseball team in home runs and RBI in 2014...four-year letterwinner in ice hockey...member of 2012-13 team which was the New Jersey Public B state champion...All-Mennen Division honorable mention at forward...high honor roll student and member of National Honor Society and World Language Honor Society...volunteered in Morris County soup kitchens and as a Corpus Christi youth leader for his church.

Personal: Son of Paul and Kimberly Barnett...father played football at Gettysburg where his mom was a swimmer...older brother, William, played lacrosse at Union...has a younger sister, Caitlin...born 1/31/98.
