Jim Gilchrist is in the midst of his third season as on John Garrett’s staff. For the 2019 season, he served as the Director of Football Operations, and prior to the 2020 season added Director of Recruiting to his title.
Gilchrist was an intern and assistant recruiting coordinator while an undergraduate at Fordham University from 2014-18. He served as the interim director of football operations for two months in 2017 and was the assistant recruiting coordinator during the 2018 recruiting cycle.
A native of Mahopac, N.Y., Gilchrist graduated from Fordham in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in American Studies. Gilchrist added NFL experience after graduation, working as the coaches video intern with the N.Y. Jets from July 2018 through January 2019.
