Maddie Rodgers is in her third season as the director of football operations in 2024.
In this role, she is responsible for handling the day-to-day logistics including team travel, team budget, student-athlete recruitment and a variety of administrative tasks for the football program.
Rodgers was behind the scenes of the Leopards' 2023 Patriot League title run when Lafayette churned out a 9-3 record that surpassed the single-season win total from the previous 40 years and saw Lafayette jump back into the top 25 polls.
Prior to Lafayette, Rodgers worked as a pre-draft scouting intern for the Philadelphia Eagles, creating background scouting reports based on social media searches via Twitter and Instagram. She participated in the 2022 NFL Women’s Forum via Zoom during her two-month remote tenure.
Rodgers spent four years with the University of Pittsburgh Athletics department as a student recruiting assistant. She maintained prospective student-athlete film to update recruiting boards and databases, converted transcripts of high school athletes to help comply with NCAA regulations, collaborated with other staff on planning and execution of prospective visits and facilitated communications with interested schools, staff members and athletes.
Rodgers earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh in 2022, focusing on Human Resources Management and Marketing, with a certificate in sports management.
