AT GILMAN SCHOOL: Three-year starter on the offensive line, playing tackle and tight end while also seeing time at defensive end…earned All MIAA-A Conference honors…served as a team captain…two-sport athlete who also played lacrosse on defense…served as a student leader at the Church of the Nativity…leader of bible study group…volunteer for the Catholic Heart Work Camp in Cumberland, Md. which helps underprivileged communities…worked with Lafayette teammate Ahmir Crawley as leaders of the F.O.C.U.S. chapter for three years.

Personal: Son of David and Katherine Gaines…has a younger sister, Ava…father played lacrosse at Princeton and was a senior captain on the 1992 national championship team…grandfather, Myrt was an All-American lacrosse player at Princeton and was inducted into the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 1984…teammate of Ahmir Crawley in high school…has yet to decide on a major…born 6/29/05.
