Personal: Son of Shawn and Elizabeth Murphy...his uncle, Dan Lorenz, played football at Cincinnati...his cousins, Jon and Andrew Lorenz, played football at Ohio State and Ohio Dominican, respectively...has a younger brother, Colin...born 9/3/97.
