2023: Played against Bucknell (9/30)…selected as one of 51 Leopard players who earned Patriot League Academic Honor Roll distinction after achieving a 3.58 GPA.

2022: Did not play in any games.

2021 Fall: Saw action in the Holy Cross game (11/6)...one of 46 Lafayette selections to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll after securing a 3.25 semester GPA.

2021 Spring: Did not play in any games during his rookie season...one of 38 Leopard selections to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll after achieving a 3.35 semester GPA.

AT MANHEIM TOWNSHIP: Named Lancaster-Lebanon League Section I Defensive Back of the Year while garnering All Lancaster-Lebanon League First-Team honors…recorded 144 tackles to go along with five interceptions and two sacks in his final two seasons…helped lead his Manheim Township team to three conference titles…achieved Lancaster-Lebanon All-Academic status…as a junior made 11 catches for 103 yards and a touchdown while recording 85 tackles with three interceptions, two pass breakups and a pair of fumble recoveries…two-sport athlete who also played basketball…honor roll student who volunteered for the Cyber Seniors program and with the United Way Christmas food distribution program.

Personal: Son of Dave and Jill Engel…has an older brother, David, and a younger brother, Dan…grandfather, Jim Bustraan, was a 1958 Lafayette alum…born 9/12/01.
