Scott Biel '12 enters his third season as an assistant coach at his alma mater. An all-league player at guard, Biel continues to coach the Leopards' tight ends while also assisting with the offensive line.

In 2014, Biel looked to replace the hole left by the graduation of Brandon Hall '14 one of the top tight ends in the conference in 2013 when he made 29 catches for 489 yards and led the Leopards in yards per catch (16.9). Brian Keller '16 stepped into that role, pulling down 24 balls for 320 yards and three touchdowns.

Biel spent the 2012 season as the tight ends coach at Franklin & Marshall where he helped F&M head coach John Troxell '94 guide the squad to a 7-4 mark and an ECAC Bowl appearance. Biel coached tight end Devin Hunter to All-Centennial Conference First-Team honors.

Biel was a three-year starter at offensive guard for the Leopards. He secured All-Patriot League First Team laurels his senior season of 2011 when he was also tabbed as the team's MVP. In 2010, he garnered All-Patriot League Second-Team honors and was named the team Offensive Line MVP. Biel was the Leopards' scout team MVP as a freshman and Rookie of the Year honors as a sophomore.

The Bluebell, Pa. native graduated with a bachelor's degree in Anthropology and Sociology.
