Biography

2024: Saw action in two games, appearing against Marist (9/14) and Stonehill (11/16)...selected as one of 54 Leopard players who earned Patriot League Academic Honor Roll laurels after achieving a 3.93 GPA.

2023: Played in three games, Duke (9/9), Columbia (9/16) and Lehigh (11/18) …selected as one of 51 Leopard players who earned Patriot League Academic Honor Roll distinction after achieving a 3.93 GPA.

2022: Played in two games, seeing time on the offensive line vs. William and Mary (9/17) and Princeton (10/8)...one of 46 Lafayette selections to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll after securing a 3.75 semester GPA.

2021 Fall: Did not see any game action...one of 42 Leopard selections to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll after achieving a 3.85 semester GPA. 

AT DARIEN: Played three positions on the offensive line during his high school career, amassing a 23-5 record from 2017-19…team was 11-1 in 2019, finishing as the state runner-up…also competed in track and field as a thrower…serves as an officer, crew leader, EMT and driver for Darien EMS Post 53 led entirely by high school students…member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes…worked as a lifeguard.
 
Personal: Son of Robert and Annie Weibel…has younger brothers, Cameron and Dillon…grandfather, Sydney Cassell, played football at Yale…uncles, Paul Meyers (Columbia) and Vance Cassell Sr. (Lehigh), also played collegiately, as did cousins Spencer Cassell (Harvard) and Vance Cassell Jr. (St. Lawrence)…born 10/1/02.
