Lafayette College Athletics

2024: Appeared in all 12 games as a special teams contributor…finished the season with three tackles, collecting one against Marist (9/14), Sacred Heart (10/19) and Stonehill (11/16)...selected as one of 54 Leopard players who earned Patriot League Academic Honor Roll laurels after achieving a 3.68 GPA.

2023: Played in 11 games, mainly seeing time on special teams…selected as the Scout Team MVP following the season...made a career-high three tackles against Columbia (9/16) and had four tackles on the season.

2022: Played in seven games, seeing time primarily on special teams...made first career tackle vs. Princeton (10/8)...one of 46 Lafayette selections to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll after securing a 3.93 semester GPA.

AT DARIEN: All-state (CHSCA and New Haven Register) and all-conference (FCIAC) selection who played running back and middle linebacker in high school...holds school's single-season rushing record with 1,866 yards as a senior...finished career with 2,165 yards and 23 touchdowns...led team to a 12-1 record and a state title thanks to 188 yards on 25 carries in the state championship game vs. Fairfield Prep...in three playoff games, Cummiskey had 675 yards from scrimmage and five touchdowns...served as a volunteer firefighter at Darien Fire Department...two-sport athlete who was the face-off specialist in lacrosse.
 
Personal: Son of James and Joy Cummiskey…also a member of the Lafayette lacrosse team...has older sisters, Kathleen and Elaine, an older brother, Jay, and a younger sister, Caliegh…father was on the sailing team at Brown while mother played competitively in USTA tournaments while in college at Iona…born 2/12/04.
