Biography

2024: Saw action in all 12 games…set new career highs with 75 rushing attempts, 390 rushing yards and five touchdowns…managed new career highs with seven receptions and 45 receiving yards…scampered for two touchdowns against Stonehill (11/16).

2023: Played in all 12 games, making a single start…ran the ball 48 times for 307 yards and two touchdowns…recorded career-highs of 26 carries for 138 yards and a touchdown in his only start against Colgate (11/4)…caught two passes for 14 yards…had 10 kick returns for a total of 181 yards…recorded a career-long 40-yard kick return at Holy Cross (10/21) while also adding a 30-yard return…named Patriot League Special Teams Player of the Week (10/2) for his performance against Bucknell (9/30) when he blocked a punt and also managed a 20-yard kick return…received Patriot League Rookie of the Week (10/30) laurels for his eight-carry, 98-yard rushing day against Georgetown (10/28) when he also ripped off a 71-yard touchdown.

AT CENTER POINT: All-state and all-region selection who left as the school record holder for rushing yards in a career and in a season...ran for 1,432 yards while averaging 8.5 yards per carry as a senior, when he scored 24 touchdowns and was selected as the team’s offensive MVP...accumulated 410 receiving yards as a senior, adding seven touchdowns...two-time Fox 6 Sideline MVP...selected as a starter in the North vs. South All-Star game...member of the school’s “A” honor roll...assisted with Community Clean Up and Shades of Service.
   
Personal: Son of Troy Bruce Sr. and Lakitha Bailey…has older brothers Jamal Lomax and Trevon Bailey and older sisters Troyell Jackson, Toi Bruce and Trenajana Cooper...brother, Jamal Lomax, played football at the University of Mary…born and raised in New Orleans...born 4/6/05.
