AT POPE JOHN XXIII: All-area and all-division honoree who played linebacker, wide receiver, strong safety and tight end in high school..finished with 1,000-plus career receiving yards and 11 touchdowns…rang up more than 200 tackles…team captain…volunteered at local food shelters and with a youth football camp. 

Personal: Son of Michael and Gretchen Johnston…father played football at Connecticut…born 9/9/06.
