Biography

2025-26: Contributed playing time in 28 contests, where he averaged 10 minutes...finished the winter at 10-for-18 from the line...grabbed 54 rebounds and dished 22 assists...recorded five steals and blocked six shots overall...played 13 minutes against Dickinson, making two steals and dishing two assists...returned from illness at Stonehill...scored three points, grabbed three rebounds and dished two assists at Penn in 12 minutes of play...secured two rebounds at Georgia Tech...collected four rebounds at Loyola Maryland...scored a season-high four points at Colgate on a pair from the field...played a season-high 23 minutes at Lehigh.

2024-25: Made his first career start against Penn, collecting a team- and career-high 15 rebounds...continued his hot streak on the glass with a team-high seven grabs at Cornell, eight at Rhode Island and nine vs. Rosemont...scored a career-high nine points against the Ravens...missed four contests due to injury (ankle)...made his sixth start vs. Loyola, recording eight points and grabbing 11 rebounds...saw limited time on the court thereafter.

2023-24: Competed in 12 contests, averaging 1.7 points, 0.8 rebounds and 0.2 assists per game…shot 7-of-15 (.467) from the floor overall…netted six out of eight free throws (.750)…grabbed 10 rebounds and collected one steal…made his collegiate debut at St. Joseph’s...tallied his first collegiate points on two free throws at Pepperdine...recorded a career-high four points versus Holy Cross.

AT TRINITY/CRESTWOOD PREP: Was a runner-up in the state finals at Crestwood... a District 3A champion with Trinity High School... has club experience with Grassroots Elite Canada under Ro Russell in Toronto, Ontario... paarticipated in the 2023 FIBA U20 European Championship for his home country of Ukraine.

PERSONAL: Bednostin has one brother, Ivan, and is the first collegiate athlete in his family.
