Associate head coach Jud Hall begins his eighth season with the Maroon and White in 2026, charged with the responsibility of the defensive side of the ball.

2025 was a special season for Hall and the Leopards as they reached numerous program milestones over the course of the season. The former Ohio Wesleyan standout’s seventh season in Easton marked Lafayette’s first 10-win season, first time reaching five Patriot League victories and its first win over rival Lehigh in 16 years (2009 season.) In March, the Maroon and White captured their first-ever triumph over conference foe Loyola (Mar. 22, 11-10) and they beat a nationally-ranked (#15) Boston U. team for the second-straight campaign. Lafayette went on to host and beat six-seeded Navy in the quarterfinal round of the Patriot League Tournament, which was its first-ever playoff victory and first over the Midshipmen since 2017. Hall was responsible for a Leopards’ defense that averaged 8.19 caused turnovers per game (sixth in the PL) and their 154 goals against total was the second lowest in the conference.

Hall moved across the Patriot League after three seasons at Colgate where he was charged with running the team’s defensive unit, as well as responsibilities with the goalies. During his tenure in Hamilton, he oversaw a team that made it to the Patriot League quarterfinals a year ago and assisted in the development of Brandon Burke ’17, a Second-Team All-League selection between the pipes in 2017.

Prior to his time at Colgate, Hall spent four seasons as a volunteer assistant and director of player development at Ohio State, working under Myers’ brother, Nick. With the Buckeyes, Hall was responsible for the goalies, as well as man down, running the box and scout offense duties. Hall’s accolades while in Columbus include NCAA quarterfinal appearances in 2013 and 2015, a regular-season ECAC championship in 2014 and an ECAC Tournament championship in 2013.

Hall was a four-year standout at Ohio Wesleyan University, where he graduated with a Sociology & Anthropology degree in 2011. He was a team captain his final two seasons and made NCAA Tournament appearances in all four years. A North Coast Athletic Conference champion in 2010 and 2011, he was a First-Team All-NCAC selection in 2010 and an All-NCAC Honorable Mention in 2009.
