Nick Hreshko was hired in July of 2024 as an assistant men's lacrosse coach after spending the last two seasons as an assistant for the Monmouth University's men's lacrosse team. Hreshko was responsible for everything from goalkeeper development to organizing community service opportunities for the team during his tenure with the Hawks.
Hreshko played a key part in Lafayette’s success in 2025 and in his first season with the staff. The Maroon and White reached the 10-win mark, they won five Patriot League regular season games and they were receiving votes at the national level for three weeks during the season, all for the very first time. On Mar. 22, the Leopards took down conference foe Loyola for the first time in team history (11-10), while 2024 & 2025 were back-to-back seasons that Lafayette defeated a nationally-ranked (#15) Boston U. squad. The regular season ended with a 12-7 road win at rival Lehigh, which handed the Leopards their first triumph over the Mountain Hawks in 16 years (2009 season). After clinching the three seed in the Patriot League Tournament, Lafayette hosted and won its first home playoff contest and they beat Navy for the first time since 2017.
The former Monmouth standout worked with Lafayette’s faceoff unit and Evan Prince ’25, who was its primary faceoff specialist during the season. The Penn Valley, Pa. native scooped up 69 ground balls in his senior season and his 4.31 per game average ranked fifth amongst his conference opponents. The Economics major posted a 53.8 win percentage in 2025 and he holds a 52.9 percent win rate for his career.
Since 2016, Hreshko has worked as an assistant club director and coach for Team11 Lacrosse, based out of Philadelphia, Pa. He's worked with players ranging from third to 11th grade helping them develop fundamentals, while encouraging sportsmanship, accountability and a strong work ethic.
