2018: Played in 11 games as a junior, starting four...picked up seven ground balls on the year, with three coming in the opener at North Carolina on Feb. 3.
2017:Started one of the six games he saw time in.
2016: Started nine of the 11 games he saw time in...picked up 16 ground balls including a season-high five against Wagner (2/19)...recorded four ground balls against Navy (3/22)...notched nine caused turnovers, with five coming against Wagner (2/19).
At St. Anthony’s: Member of the Honor Roll…won the 2014 Defensive Coaches’ Award…winner of the Paul Harris Fellow Award and earned a gold medal with Team USA at the Brogdon Cup…two-time gold medalist at the Empire State Cup with the Long Island Express.
Personal: Son of Hugh and Christina Merle…has one sibling, Chris…grandfather, Bob Denber played football at Penn.
