Nathan McDonald begins his third season as the Lafayette goalkeepers coach after joining the Maroon and White prior to the 2015 season.

McDonald was a stud between the pipes during his time on College Hill, leading the Patriot League with eight shutouts and earning Patriot League Tournament MVP honors during the team's 2012 conference championship run.

The Bay Village, Ohio native holds a career record of 17-11-12 in net with a goals-against average of 0.74 and a save percentage of .797. Off the field, McDonald also shined in the classroom as a four-year memeber of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

Prior to returning to Lafayette, McDonald served as a Goalkeeper and Academy Trainer for ENCO United Soccer Club in Easton, developing players at the U9 to U13 levels. Additionally, he has been a Project Engineer at Victaulic Company in Easton since 2014.
