2023: Did not see any action...named to the 2023-24 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

2022: Did not see any action...named to the 2022-23 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

2021 Fall: Did not see action…named to the 2021-22 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll. 

At Herricks: Four-year starter…two-time team captain…was an All-County selection and team MVP his junior season…helped transform Herricks High School soccer into a consistent playoff participant helping them reach the playoffs each year after the program only qualified once in previous decades…scored 10 goals and totaled nine assists as a junior…also played for Metropolitan Oval and currently plays with the MLS NEXT Academy.
 
Personal: Son of Diego and Barbara Ponieman…has two siblings, Alan and Marc…brother Alan plays soccer for Queens College.
