Corinne Ozanne enters her second season as an assistant coach on Caitlyn de la Haba's softball coaching staff. In her first year of coaching, Ozanne and the Lafayette coaching staff saw the offense make immediate strides. The Leopards more than doubled their run production, scoring 165 runs compared to 88 in 2017. The team also saw significant improvements in doubles (35 to 59), home runs (8 to 24), RBI (78-145), slugging percentage (.279 to .338), on-base percentage (.280 to .318) walks (72 to 118) and stolen bases (30 to 41). The final numbers in those categories were the best for a Leopard team over the last five seasons.

Ozanne, a native of Center Valley, Pa., was an All-Big East selection at Syracuse University. She left her alma mater as its career leader for home runs, total bases and double plays while holding records in 15 additional offensive categories. During her career which spanned the 2013-16 seasons, the infielder hit for a .312 average with 50 home runs and 138 RBI. She earned All-Big East Third-Team honors as a freshman in 2013 and served as a team captain for three seasons. She followed with All-ACC Second-Team laurels in her junior campaign of 2015. Ozanne graduated with a degree in Child and Family Studies and a minor in Coaching in 2016.

After graduation, she served as an assistant coach at Lancaster (N.Y.) high school for one season, helping guide the team to a 21-1 record. She also has served as a private hitting and fielding instructor with Softball Central and as an instructor at numerous softball camps around the country with coaches from the United States and Canada.
