Biography

2023: Played in 20 games with 10 starts in the outfield, splitting time between left field and right field...hit for a .259 average with seven hits and five runs scored in 27 at-bats…went 2-for-3 vs. Youngstown State (2/26) at the UMBC Tournament and 2-for-3 in the season finale at Bucknell (5/7)...Patriot League Academic Honor Roll selection who achieved a 4.0 semester GPA.

2022: Played in 30 games with 22 starts...split time between left field and right field...hit for a .154 average with eight hits including a double and three RBI, in 52 at-bats…scored six runs…drove in two runs vs. Colgate (4/10)…went 2-for-3 with an RBI at Lehigh (4/3)…slapped an RBI-double down the left field line at Drexel (4/28).

2021: Played in nine games with three starts, used primarily as a pinch runner and DH...finished with a .143 average with one hit in 17 at-bats...scored a run vs. Drexel (3/21)...started in right field in the series finale at Boston U (5/2) when she recorded an infield single...earned a spot on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll with a 3.4 semester GPA.  

2020: Played in seven games with six starts in the outfield in a season cut short by COVID-19...recorded a .167 overall batting average in 12 at-bats....earned first collegiate hit on a lead-off single through the left side in the fourth inning of the first game of a doubleheader vs. Penn (3/4)...scored first run of her career in the same inning of that game on junior captain Paige Grover's two-run home run.....named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll after posting a 3.5 GPA.

High School: Four-year starter in her high school program, playing outfield and second base while hitting above .400 the last three seasons (2016: .405 BA, .511 OBP), (2017: .409 BA, .567 OBP) (2018: .522 BA and .607)...achieved All-Bay League Second-Team status and CIF Southern Section All-Academic honors...played her travel ball with the Ohana Tigers in Cerritos, California...served as the vice president of the California Scholarship Federation and was a member of the National Honor Society and the Spanish, Science, and National Art honor societies.

Personal: Daughter of Jaubin Nguyen and Myhanh Tran ...has a younger brother Jaden, and a younger sister Jiselle...born July 28, 2001.
