Biography

2018-19: Became the 53rd player in program history to play 100 games...Played key minutes in the season opener at FDU...scored all 10 points in the final minute to help overcome a nine-point deficit with 1:09 left against St. Peter’s...started the Albany game and was a crucial part of the 13-point comeback over the final eight minutes to eventually win in double overtime...recorded two assists and two steals at Manhattan...scored 10 points in the fourth quarter and overtime alone in the win over Monmouth...hit a crucial 3-pointer and went 4-for-4 from the foul line against Holy Cross...scored 15 points while connecting on a career-high three 3-pointers against Navy...inserted into starting lineup at Holy Cross and scored 10 points with seven boards and five assists...matched season-high 15 points vs. American...had a game-high nine rebounds at American in the Patriot League Tournament Quarterfinal.

2017-18: Started the first two games of the season against La Salle and Saint Peter’s...scored a season-high seven points against La Salle in the season opener...added an assist against Colgate...tied her season-best with seven points against the Bison...filled the stat sheet against rival Lehigh tallying six points coming from two three-pointers, a rebound and one assist…finished with a season-high three steals against Holy Cross...averaged 10.9 minutes per game and produced a team-leading 86.4% free-throw percentage.

2016-17: Started in nine of the 29 games she appeared in as a sophomore … scored a season-high six points against Lehigh (1/21), also tying her career-high with seven assists to go along with two steals … reeled in a career-high 11 rebounds with four points and two assists at Colgate (12/30).

2015-16: Appeared in 28 of 29 games in her debut season on College Hill…cracked the starting lineup in 18 of her final 19 appearances...led team in both rebounds (8) and steals (4) in 21 minutes off the bench at Wagner (12/9)...made first-career collegiate start against Richmond (12/28)...grabbed a team-best 10 rebounds the following afternoon versus Coppin St. (12/29)...handed out five assists and shot 3-for-4 from the field at Loyola (1/2)…reached double figures in scoring for the first time with an 11-point effort against Army West Point (1/6)...set new season-highs in points (17) and assists (7) in a home win over Boston U. (1/9)...named Patriot League ROTW on Jan. 10 following those two performances...matched her season-high with 10 rebounds against Holy Cross (2/10)…registered four steals in back-to-back games against Navy (2/13) and American (2/17), and had a season-high five swipes the following week at Bucknell (2/24)…averaged 3.1 points and 3.8 rebounds per game on the season.

At North Shore: Led women’s basketball team to its first Long Island Championship in program history as a senior, sinking the go-ahead free throws late in a 49-47 victory...a five-year letterwinner in basketball...member of three Nassau County Championship-winning teams...three-year captain, three-time all-county performer and two-time all-state honoree...two-time Newsday All-Long Island Team member...scored over 1,000 points in her high school career...also lettered for four years in soccer and lacrosse...named to the Scholar-Athlete team for both basketball and lacrosse...two-time all-county player in lacrosse, with team winning a pair of Nassau County titles...also an all-conference performer in soccer...a four-year high honor roll student...member of the National Honor Society and the Spanish National Honor Society...played AAU basketball for the Long Island Lightning.

Personal: Daughter of John and Theresa Cantwell...her mother, the former Theresa O’Connell, is a former basketball player at Lafayette, ranking 12th in program history with 1,178 points for her career...she served as a team captain during her senior season in 1989-90...has one younger brother, Greg...born October 28, 1997.
