Biography
2020: Served as a team captain...played in seven games, with two starts, in a season cut short by COVID-19...scored four goals for four points...had 12 draw controls, picked up six ground balls, and caused four turnovers...one of 41 Leopards selected to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll...one of nine Leopards who posted a team-best 4.0 GPA in the spring semester.
2019: Played in all 17 games for the Maroon and White, finishing in a tie for fourth in scoring with 17 goals, adding two assists for 19 points...went 7-of-9 on free-position opportunities, caused four turnovers, added 10 ground balls and picked up 25 draw controls...member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
2018: Made appearances in all 17 games with two starts as a sophomore, scoring 18 goals and adding four assists for 22 points on the year...picked up 14 ground balls and eight draw controls, while causing a pair of turnovers...member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll...scored multiple goals on five different occasions including three apiece against Binghamton (2/22), American (4/25) and Colgate (4/28)..added an assist and a season-high three ground balls against American.
2017: Appeared in five games in her rookie campaign...recorded her lone shot in the loss to Loyola.
At Oakland Catholic: Four-year varsity player in lacrosse, leading her team in ground balls (207), goals (221), assists (56), points (277) and caused turnovers (148) for three straight years and draws (174) for two consecutive seasons…was All-Section honoree three times and an All-League selection twice…served as team captain for three years and was Butler Eagle’s Most Prolific Scorer…member of the Western Pennsylvania National Tournament Team for two seasons and was a three-time Team MVP…also played basketball and field hockey…member of the National Honor Society and graduated Summa Cum Laude with the highest honor roll. Was part of the Joan of Arc Society of Scholars and won the Presidential Award for Academic Excellence…volunteered at numerous places, including UPMB Hospital, the St. Maria Goretti Parish and School, the Pittsburgh Food Bank and the St. Lucy’s Auxiliary for the Blind…was President of the Maria Goretti Club and Vice President of the Cancer Awareness Club.
Personal: Daughter of Maria and Joseph Alampi…has one younger brother, Joseph…born on June 5, 1998.
