Lafayette College Athletics

Brianne Tierney enters her third season at Lafayette. Tierney came to Lafayette from the University of Denver where she served as Director of Men's Lacrosse Operations.

During her time in Denver, Tierney coached at Summit Lacrosse and served as head coach at Cherry Creek High School. Prior to her stint in Denver, she was the head coach of Lebanon Valley College from 2009-2012, where she started the women's lacrosse program. Tierney has spent time as an assistant coach at the University of California Berkeley and Monmouth University, as well as being a camp counselor at Princeton University's women's lacrosse camp.

She also played lacrosse at Loyola Maryland and Colgate, where she was a two-time Patriot League Champion with the Raiders. She graduated from Colgate with a Bachelor of Arts in English in 2007.
