Kristen Masullo enters her second season as an assistant coach for Lafayette’s women’s lacrosse program. Masullo, a four-year starting goalkeeper at Liberty, was most-recently a volunteer assistant coach at her alma mater in 2014.

The Berkeley Heights, N.J., native started 69 of the 71 games she appeared in for the Flames, finishing her career with 675 saves and a .437 save percentage. Masullo was a First-Team All-Conference performer in the now-dissolved National Lacrosse Conference in 2011, and she was a Second-Team All-Big South player as a junior. She ranked in the top-five in the NCAA for saves during her freshman and sophomore seasons, and her .473 save percentage as a freshman ranked her 14th in the nation.

Masullo worked primarily with the goalkeepers as an assistant for the program in 2015, as Liberty posted a 5-2 record in the Big South and made it to the conference’s championship game. She has additionally served as a goalie coach at Gardner-Webb, and she was the lacrosse coach at E.C. Glass High School in Lynchburg, Va.

A three-year Big South Academic Honor Roll member, Masullo graduated from Liberty in 2014 with a B.S. in exercise science and a minor in psychology. She is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine and became a certified personal trainer earlier this year.
