At Sayville: Lutz played lacrosse, soccer and winter track for the Golden Flash. In lacrosse, she helped the team to a state championship with a 21-0 record as a two-time All-Division award winner. The soccer team made playoffs twice and she was a back-to-back county champion in three years of track. The Economics major was named to the honor roll as well as being a scholar-athlete for all four years in addition to winning the Cameron Riccomini scholarship. Her extracurriculars include Every Child's Dream, Key Club and Leadership Club. Under coach Chris Ramos, Lutz has club experience for the Long Island Yellow Jackets.

Personal: She has one brother, Dylan. Her mother, Danielle, swam at St. Michaels while her father, Clayton, played baseball at Stony Brook.
