Biography
2020: Served as a team captain in a season cut short by COVID-19...played in five games, starting in three of them...scooped up three ground balls and caused three turnovers...became a four-time selection to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll...one of 41 Leopards named to the PL Academic Honor Roll...one of nine Leopards who posted a team-best 4.0 GPA in the spring semester.
2019: Made her collegiate debut in the win over St. Bonaventure...member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll and selected to the IWLCA Division I Honor Roll.
2018: Did not play in any games as a sophomore...member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
2017: Did not see any game action in her rookie campaign.
At Garnet Valley: Two-year starter and two-time PIAA state champion in 2014 and 2015…was a team captain and All-Delco Honorable Mention…also played four years of basketball and won three straight Central League championships…was class secretary and participated on the student council and as a peer counselor.
Personal: Daughter of Holly and Stephen Young…has two sisters, one older, Finlay and one younger, Rory…Steve played football at Delaware…born on Sept. 14, 1997.
