Samantha Ziegler begins her second year as an assistant at her alma mater after joining the coaching staff in 2007. Ziegler will work primarily with the attack and midfielders and also assist in recruiting, practice planning, game preparation and will coordinate the program's camps and clinics. The four-year letterwinner appeared in all 63 games of her career. She scored 60 goals and tallied 69 points for the Leopards. Ziegler also excelled in the classroom as a four-time Patriot League Academic Roll honoree and made the Dean's List on her way to earning a bachelor's degree in Psychology in 2006. Ziegler spent her year-long hiatus from College Hill gaining coaching experience as the assistant lacrosse coach at North Penn High School in Lansdale, Pa. She also acted as the head field hockey coach at Penn Field Middle School in Hatfield, Pa. In the offseason, Ziegler coaches for the Triumph Lacrosse club team - a new program for players in the Lehigh Valley. She also coaches Indian Valley United, a U-16 field hockey club team. The Harleysville, Pa. native graduated from Souderton Area High School, where she played and captained four years of lacrosse and field hockey. She currently resides in Easton.
