Dan Ford

Dan Ford, who spent the last three years as a medical device sales consultant, is beginning his coaching career on College Hill. Prior to his sales endeavors, he accumulated 13 years of playing experience as a setter at both the NCAA Division I and professional level in Europe. 
 
His career began at Council Rock North High School, where he and played under head coach Christian Kiselica, securing the school’s first district championship in 2011. During his time at Council Rock North, Ford was a three-time All-League selection and was named to Volleyball Magazine’s Fab 50 list as a senior. While in high school, he competed for Yorktowne Volleyball Club. 
 
After graduating, he went on to redshirt his freshman year at Lewis University before deciding to transfer to St. Francis (Pa.). At St. Francis, Ford was a two-time All-EIVA, selection earning First Team (2017) and Second Team (2016) honors, EIVA Offensive Player of the Week (Jan. 30, 2017), Cal Baptist Invitational All-Tournament Team (2017), EIVA All-Decade Team (2010-2020) and Volleyball Magazine All-America Honorable Mention (2017). During this time, he also helped the program to its first ever wins over Penn State, as well as the program’s best season ending AVCA rank in 2017. 
 
After wrapping up his college career, Ford went to Finland to play a short stint in highest level of volleyball in Finland with Hurrikaani Loimaa in Mestaruusliiga, followed by one more season in the highest level in Germany, Bundesliga with SWD PowerVolleys Duren.
 
A native of Newtown, Pa., Ford graduated with a degree from St. Francis in Business Management.
