Lafayette College Athletics

Mather 2022

Ryan Mather

Ryan Mather comes to College Hill for his first season in 2022-23 as an assistant coach for the Lafayette volleyball program.

"Ryan brings a great level of enthusiasm and excitement to the assistant coach position," Adams said. "His passion for the sport of volleyball is infectious and motivating to everyone around him and his extensive college-level experience will add huge value to the lives of all our student athletes. I couldn't be more excited for him to be joining the Lafayette College volleyball family."

Mather comes to College Hill after playing professionally across the globe, most recently earning MVP honors in the Volleyligaen of Denmark. This came after a second-place finish and third-place finish in the National Volleyball Association in back-to-back seasons as part of the Las Vegas Ramblers in 2020 and 2021.

A three-time all-conference honoree in college, Mather was an opposite for Grand Canyon University where he ranks second in program history for kills in a single match with 30.
