Samuel Haimann

Samuel Haimann enters his third season as an assistant coach for the volleyball program. Haimann joined Lafayette after serving as an assistant with the men’s team at his alma mater Kean University in the spring of 2015. In the 2016 season, he helped the Leopards get off to a 7-0 start at Kirby Sports Center, the best home start in program history, and he has helped bring in a strong seven-player recruiting class for the 2017 season.

During his one season at Kean, the team posted a 31-6 record, winning its fourth straight Skyline Conference regular season and tournament titles and earning a fourth consecutive trip to the NCAA Division III Tournament. Since graduation, Haimann has been active in the GEVA region of USA volleyball serving as a head coach and speed and agility coordinator for Central Jersey Volleyball Academy. Haimann played two seasons at Saint Francis University before transferring to Kean. As a player at Kean, his team won the Skyline Conference Championship and earned a bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament. 

Haimann graduated in 2012 with a degree in Political Science with a Pre-Law Concentration and National Honor Society Merit.
