EASTON, Pa. (www.lafayette.edu) - For the second time in the program's 11-year history, the Lafayette women's soccer team will compete in postseason play with an appearance in the ECAC Tournament.
No. 4 seed Lafayette will face No. 1 seed St. John's in the opening round on Saturday at Northeastern University. Kick off is slated for 11 a.m. No. 3 seed Northeastern will host No. 2 seed Penn at 1:30 p.m.
Lafayette is currently 11-7 overall, having recorded the most wins in program history. The Leopards placed three sophomores among the All-Patriot League ranks with Emily Myers (Hershey, Pa./Hershey) leading the way with 16 goals and seven assists. Currently, the Patriot League's leading scorer, Myers is in the top 20 in the nation in points per game and goals per game.
