PITTSBURGH, PA - Lafayette (0-1) opened the season with an 80-43 road loss at BIG EAST power Pittsburgh (1-0), committing 23 turnovers in the setback.

Senior co-captain Katie Miller led the Leopards with 15 points, connecting on six-of-12 attempts from the field. Sophomore Christina LiVecchi, a member of the 1998-99 All-Patriot League Rookie Team, chipped in with seven points.

Lafayette travels to Sacred Heart on Tuesday, November 23, for a 7:00 p.m. tip-off.
