EASTON, PA - Jen Bayer tied her career-high with 23 points, and recorded her seventh double-double in the last nine games, leading four Lafayette scorers in double figures, as the Leopards dominated league and arch-rival Lehigh, 83-66.

The Leopards led by just five points on Bayer's three point play with 12:54 remaining, but then went on a 26-13 run over the next 10 minutes, running away with Lafayette's second league win. Jen Corvigno played a big part of the run, hitting two of her three three-pointers on the night.

The first half was back and forth, as teams traded the lead, sitting in a tie seven times. Lafayette appeared to have control halfway through the first period, claiming an eight point lead, but Danielle Baldwin hit a trey, and freshman forward Anne Tierney, the Patriot League's second leading scorer, hit a layup. Sara Hessel hit two free-throws to virtually eliminate the Leopards' lead.

Lehigh's Baldwin led all scorers with 25 points. Tierney and Maureen Trigo also contributed 15 points apiece, but lafayette held the Mountain Hawks to just 39 percent shooting on the night, the Leopards best defensive effort of the season.

On the other hand, Lafayette shot an amazing 59 percent, while four Leopards tallied double figures. Christina LiVecchi came a point away from her career-high, set earlier this season againt Fairleigh Dickinson, with 19 points. Laurie Infantino continued her consistent play, hitting 50 percent of her shots en route to 10 points. Liz Rojahn returned to her usual double-figure form after failing to reach double figures for two straight game, with 10 points, respectively.

Lafayette improves to 4-14 on the season, but more importantly, evens their Patriot League record to 2-2. Lehigh drops to 8-11, 1-3 in the Patriot League.
