FORKS TOWNSHIP, PA -
Lafayette couldn't put away the Bison a second time in one day, as Bucknell scored four runs
in the sixth inning, en route to an 8-3 win over Lafayette.
Pitcher Erin Hall tried to win both games in one day, but didn't have enough gas left to
finish out both games. She made in through six innings, but gave up four runs in the fifth,
leaving the Leopards behind 6-2.
Gina Galati had another fine outing, going 3-for-3 with an RBI. But the Leopards mustered
just two more hits on the day, and couldn't overcome two RBI days from Kelly Dugan and
Meredith Gill of Bucknell.
Lafayette drops to 3-9, 1-1 in the league, while Bucknell improves to 8-9, and also 1-1
in league play.
The Leopards return to action this Tuesday, April third as they travel to Rider for a 2:30
p.m. start.
