EASTON, Pa. (www.lafayette.edu) - Lafayette juniors Brian Burke and Christina LiVecchi will take part in live online chats this Thursday, March 1, to offer their thoughts on Lafayette's chances at the Patriot League Men's and Women's Basketball Tournaments this weekend in Annapolis, Md. LiVecchi will be available at 11 a.m. EST in the ESPN.com moderated chat room, while Burke will answer questions at 1 p.m.

Burke, who missed 13 games during the middle of this season because of a punctured lung suffered in the Leopards' game at Fordham on Dec. 11, is still seeing limited playing time because of the injury. He successfully made his return exactly two months later on Feb. 11, and his 23 points in 15 minutes helped lead Lafayette to a convincing 87-78 win over Navy. Burke is third on the squad in scoring with an average of 13.6 ppg. and leads the team with an average of 4.9 assists per game.

Burke figures to play a key role in the Leopards' pursuit of a third straight trip to the NCAA Tournament. Lafayette is the fifth seed in the Patriot League Tournament this weekend, and will face archrival Lehigh in the first round.

LiVecchi, who is averaging 3.9 points and 1.9 rebounds per game, leads the team in blocked shots for the second straight season.

LiVecchi figures to be instrumental in the Leopards' pursuit of the women's basketball program's first trip to the NCAA Tournament. Lafayette is the sixth seed in the Patriot League Tournament this weekend, and will also face archrival Lehigh in the first round. The Leopards have knocked off Lehigh each of the past two seasons in the conference tournament.
