I don't like the term upset because last season, Lehigh blew us out and then we blew them out twice (once being in the tournament). However, this season, Lehigh has beaten us twice and I strongly believe it is because the team I am used to playing with did not show up for the game. If we play to our capablities as a team, we are going to be successful. If we let Lehigh control the tempo, we will struggle. Controlling the tempo and good defense will win the game for us.

How tall are you?
Christina LiVecchi at 11:15am ET
Hahaha, many people wonder about that. I am 5'10 1/2 however I am listed as 6'1 for intimidation factors!

My daughter is really interested in Lafayette and she plays softball. She is an All-State third baseman in Connecticut, but the recruiters have not been coming on as heavy as I thought they would. Do you think Lafayette is a good school and a good college to compete at?
Christina LiVecchi at 11:19am ET
I would send my schedule to Lafayette along with an introduction to who you are and your interest of Lafayette. I would also call the coach and talk to them personally. This way, they are aware that you are interested. You could even send a tape if one is available. Lafayette is a great school both academically and athletically and those are the main reasons I chose it.

What makes a rivalry like the one Lafayette has with Lehigh so intense?
Christina LiVecchi at 11:21am ET
I believe that part of it comes from us being so close to one another. Another reason is that there is the long standing football rivalry. I think a combination of the two make for a strong rivalry.

Of the freshmen on the squad, who do you think will have the biggest impact on the team in the future?
Christina LiVecchi at 11:23am ET
After looking back on the season, I would be confident in saying that Colleen Fitzpatrick is going to be one hell of a player. SHe is very fluent with her moves and is very strong. SHe has a nose for rebounding and once she develops a strong back to the basket game, she is going to be unstoppable.

Hey Chris (and Mike)! Who do you think will win the tournament overall?
Christina LiVecchi at 11:26am ET
Hi there! I think that HOly Cross or Bucknell are good candidates. However I also feel we could win if we play to our capabilities.

How did playing with the Philadelphia Belles and the talent of such players as Lauren Kwasny help you prepare for the collegiate level?
Christina LiVecchi at 11:29am ET
Without players like Lauren Kwasny I probably wouldnt have had the chance to develop my game or my confidance in high school because you can't have good post players without great point guards.

How confident are you in your coaching staff to lead you to a win this weekend against Lehigh? What have you worked on this week to offset Anne Tierney?
Christina LiVecchi at 11:33am ET
I am very confident that they will prepare us well for the game. They can't come on the floor to play the game so the fate of the game is in the players hands not the coaches. We will keep Anne off the boards and make her play to her weaknessess and YES she does have them.

How old were you when you started playing bball? And what were your other college choices before deciding to go to Lafayette?
Christina LiVecchi at 11:42am ET
I was in third grade when I started playing. I also wanted to go to Bucknell. I had some offers from schools like Drexel, LaSalle, Temple and St. Bonaventure but I chose Lafayette because of the academics.

You have plenty of threats inside the paint...Bayer, Fitzpatrick, Yourself...but who do you see is the biggest threat to your opponents from the outside?
Christina LiVecchi at 11:44am ET
Christel Rocha and Kim Costello because they are our biggest three point threats. THey also have good penatrating moves.

What do you expect to contribute to your team in order for them to win the tournament?

Who do you think will step up in the backcourt when Rocha graduates?
Christina LiVecchi at 11:48am ET
Liz had an awesome season last year and I think that her injurt took away from the depth we had on our team. She is a good outside threat! Rojahn rules!
Christina LiVecchi at 11:48am ET
