PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (www.lafayette.edu) - Ethan Blose (Monroeville, Pa./Franklin Regional) and Jim Fischer (Dumont, N.J./Bergen Catholic) both turned in strong performances for the Lafayette men's track team at the Penn Relays.
Blose finished sixth in the Men's College Division of the javelin with a throw of 203'5".
In the Eastern College Shot Put Division, Fischer placed 15th with a toss of 49'9 3/4". Fischer also finished 24th in the Men's College Division of the discus, marking a throw of 148'1"
Lafayette also finished sixth in the 4x400 relay with a time of 3:20.39. The Leopards competed in a division comprised only of Pennsylvania schools in that relay.
The track and field team continues to compete though the weekend at the Penn Relays.
