WEST POINT, N.Y. (www.lafayette.edu) - Four members of Lafayette's track and field team recorded top-five finishes at the non-team scoring West Point Open on Saturday, Jan. 19 at Army.
Jim Fischer led the men's squad with a fourth-place effort in the shot put at 15.39 meters and a fifth-place finish in the weight throw at 15.14 meters.
Three members of Lafayette's women's squad recorded top-five finishes, including two in the pole vault. Ambyr Craw and Kim Miller tied for second in the pole vault, each clearing 3.30 meters. Larissa Bellamy also took home a second-place finish with a best of 12.27 in the shot put.
The Leopards return to action on Saturday, Jan. 26 with the annual indoor dual meet at Lehigh.
