Lafayette Women's Soccer Team Loses to Colgate, 1-0

HAMILTON, N.Y. (www.lafayette.edu) - The Lafayette women's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision at Colgate in the team's Patriot League season finale on Saturday afternoon. The Leopards end the regular season with an 8-8-1 overall mark and 2-5-1 record in league play.

Courtney Hostetler scored off a rebound at 88:06 to break a scoreless tie and push Colgate (6-8-1, 4-2-1) to the win.

Amy Fortunato led the Leopards with two shots, while Kerrie Kiley and Emily Myers also took aim on goal.

Lafayette was beaten in the statistics categories, tallying just four shots to Colgate's 25 and taking two corner kicks to Colgate's seven.

Ashley Wesmiller, Marissa Mullins and Amy Kalista each saw time in goal for the Leopards, combining for 11 saves. Kate Jassin made three stops for Colgate.
