BRONX, N.Y. (www.lafayette.edu) - Fordham scored three times in the second half and Shannon Misiaszek did not allow a goal as Lafayette dropped a 3-0 decision on Friday afternoon.
After the two teams battled to a scoreless first half, Fordham got two quick goals by Dana Arcara and Elena Daragjati to take a 2-0 lead at 48:08. Kirstin Gellatly added another score on a penalty kick at 77:57 to cap the Fordham scoring.
Ashley Wesmiller played 45 minutes in net and made two saves, while Amy Kalista played the second half of the game and stopped two shots.
Lafayette (2-2) returns to action on Sept. 17 when Iona visits Metzgar Field for a 7 p.m. game.
