OSCEOLA, Fla. (www.lafayette.edu) - Lafayette fell behind early and went on to lose an 8-0 game to IUPUI on Wednesday at the Rebel Games. Devan Craig pitched five shutout innings for IUPUI, allowing two hits while striking out four.

The Leopards touched Craig for just two hits - one each by Megan Longo and Laura Schrager - while also stranding four runners on base.

Christie McFarland sparked the IUPUI offense, belting a three-run single in a four-run third inning. The Jaguars added two more runs in the fourth inning to take a commanding 7-0 lead.

Lauren Belowich suffered the loss for the Leopards, giving up six unearned runs in four innings and striking out six batters.
