EASTON, Pa. (www.lafayette.edu) - Tickets for the 2004 Patriot League Men's and Women's Basketball Tournament, to be held March 5-7 at The Show Place Arena in Upper Marlboro, Md., can be purchased easily through Lafayette's ticket office or by calling 610-330-5471. Tickets are $20 per day for adults and $5 per day for students. All-tournament packages are available for $40 for adults and $10 for students.
As an added bonus for Leopard fans, everyone who purchases an adult ticket for the tournament in advance through Lafayette's ticket office will automatically be entered into a random drawing for four tickets to the Patriot League Tournament championship game if Lafayette advances.
The 14th annual Patriot League Men's and Women's Basketball Tournament will begin Friday, March 5 with four quarterfinal-round women's games, followed Saturday, March 6 with the men's quarterfinal-round games. Sunday's action includes the women's semifinal games in the afternoon and the men's semifinal games in the evening. All four semifinal games on Sunday will be broadcast live on DIRECTV (Ch. 615). Action all three days begins at noon.
The women's championship game is set for Wednesday, March 10, at 7 p.m. at the home court of the highest-remaining seeded team and will be broadcast on DIRECTV (Ch. 611). The men's championship game, to air on ESPN2 at 12 p.m., will be played Sunday, March 14, at the home court of the highest-remaining seeded team.
