Brown Downs Leopards, 3-0, in Women's Soccer

EASTON, Pa. (www.lafayette.edu) - Brown scored twice in the first half, then once more in the second to hand the Lafayette women's soccer team its first loss of the season in the ECAC Women's Soccer Classic on Friday afternoon.

Susie Keller put Brown (2-2) on the board just over 10 minutes into the match off an assist from Jill Mansfield. Meghan Schreck scored 15 minutes later as she converted on a pass from Keller.

Lindsay Cunningham's goal 1:45 into the second half, assisted by Kathryn Moos, gave Brown a 3-0 advantage, which stood up until the final whistle.

Hilary Wilson made three saves in goal to get the shutout. Sarah Amtower had five saves for Lafayette (1-1-1).

The Leopards will play New Hampshire at 12 p.m. on Sunday afternoon to conclude the weekend.
