Lafayette to Participate in WBCA's Pink Zone on Saturday

EASTON, Pa. - The Lafayette women's basketball team will take part in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Pink Zone in its game against Navy this Saturday.

All Lafayette fans are encouraged to wear pink in support of the cause and those fans who make a monetary contribution to the Kay Yow WBCA Cancer Fund will receive a pink pair of crocs. The team will also wear pink uniforms during the game, donated by Shawn Sponaugle '00 and printed by Bethlehem Sporting Goods.

The WBCA Pink Zone is a global, unified effort to assist in raising breast cancer awareness on the court, across campuses, in communities and beyond.

In recognition of Valentine's Day, tickets are also buy one get one free.

Tip-off for Saturday's game is at 1 p.m. and it can be seen live regionally on the Lafayette Sports Network (RCN-4, RCN-8 and WBPH-60) and worldwide via LSN All-Access.
