LEWISBURG, Pa. - The Lafayette volleyball team got a match-high nine kills from senior co-captain Katrina Racibarskas on Saturday afternoon, but the Leopards were unable to hold off a balanced Bucknell attack in a 3-0 loss. The Bison took the match by set scores of 25-22, 25-19 and 25-14.

With the loss, the Leopards fall to 4-22 overall with an 0-12 Patriot League mark. Bucknell improves to 9-15 on the season and 7-5 in league play.

The nine kills for Racibarskas were closely followed by eight finishers from her fellow senior co-captain, Kayly Elmer. Elmer also had seven digs and a pair of blocks. Freshman Molly Belcher ran the offense and dished out 19 assists.

Defensively, freshman libero Mackenzie Larsen headed the Leopards' back row with nine digs. As a team, Lafayette was outdug, 44-33, but won the battle at the net with a 4-3 edge in blocks.

Bucknell had six players tally four or more kills, led by six from both Kebah Edoho and Kyleigh McAhren. Rachel Rodriguez and Kat Tauscher split time at setter and dished out 16 and 12 assists, respectively. Rodriguez completed a double-double with 13 digs, while Laylen Marroquin had a baker's dozen from the back row as well.

Lafayette will wrap up the 2010 season at Kirby Sports Center on Nov. 12 and 13. Navy visits Easton on Friday for a 7 p.m. contest, and first serve will come at 4 p.m. the following day against American.
