EASTON, Pa. - Lafayette men's lacrosse midfielder Steve Serling has been named a 2010 Scholar All-American, adding yet another line to his long list of achievements.

The 2010 Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year graduated on Saturday with an Economics and Business degree in the classroom and asserted himself into the Lafayette record books with 96 career points in only three years of play.

Serling, a 2010 co-captain with classmate Matt Mersky '10, led the Leopards to their first Patriot League Tournament berth and was nationally-ranked for eight consecutive weeks throughout the 2010 campaign.

Yesterday, Serling was invited to participate in the 2010 LaxWorld/USILA North vs. South game on Friday afternoon in Towson, Md., kicking off the NCAA Championship Weekend for men's lacrosse.
