Men’s Lacrosse Eclipses $110,000-mark During Centennial Challenge

Program collected 83 donations while surpassing the goal of $50,000 with matching $50,000 anonymous donation

EASTON, Pa. - The Lafayette men's lacrosse program raised $110,00 during the $100k for 100 years challenge. Starting on March 16 and ending on March 20, an anonymous donor pledged to match up to $50,000 in donations.

During the giving challenge, the Leopards' social media accounts revisited some of Men's Lacrosse's defining moments, such as Maroon Club Hall of Fame member Bill Lawson's 31-year tenure at the helm and the program's historic 10-win campaign in 2025.

The Maroon and White capped off the week by hosting Navy on March 20. The game served as Lafayette men's lacrosse's 100-year anniversary and alumni day game. More than 50 men's lacrosse alumni traveled back to College Hill where they attended an open house at Wallach Sports Performance and Lacrosse Center before watching the matchup with fellow alums and teammates.

Next up for the Leopards is a road trip to Bucknell on Saturday at noon.
