WEST POINT, N.Y. - Senior men's lacrosse attackman and co-captain Matt Mersky and goalkeeper Vinny DePasquale were named to the 2010 Patriot League All-Tournament team.

Mersky led the Lafayette attack, racking up four goals and an assist in the tournament semifinals. He had a career-high 30 goals this season, and picked up eight assists, leading the Leopards to its best season since 1984.

DePasquale stopped 11 shots between the pipes in Friday's contest, totaling 170 for the season. In addition to being named to the All-Tournament team, he was also named the Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week on March 15.

The Leopards ended an impressive and season with an 8-6 overall record and first Patriot League tournament berth in the school's history.

The squad also found itself ranked for the first time in school history, holding a spot in the top-20 for eight consecutive weeks and defeated its first two nationally-ranked opponents (Navy and Bucknell).
