EASTON, Pa. - The Lafayette softball team placed eight student-athletes on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, announced Tuesday afternoon. Junior pitcher, Ali Henry, led the way for the Leopards with a 3.76 grade-point average (GPA) as an English and Art double major.
Henry was joined by classmates Kristin Garganio (Chemistry, 3.50), Kerry Griffin (English, 3.22) and Christine Hilcken (Psychology and Government & Law, 3.40).
Freshmen Emily Noel finished her spring semester as an English major with a 3.25, while Jordan Parsons (undeclared) posted a 3.42 GPA.
Winner of the Charles L. Albert Trophy, Kasey Karr, boasted a 3.42 in Biochemistry while Jessika Smith, an Engineering major, closed out her spring semester with a 3.20.
