EASTON, Pa. - Lafayette (7-11, 2-1) looks to extend its two-game Patriot League winning streak on Wednesday but it will have do so against the team playing the best basketball in the conference, Bucknell (12-7, 3-0), in a place (Sojka Pavilion) that Lafayette has never won.

The Leopards are shooting 79 percent from the free throw line and are ranked fourth in the nation (as of Jan. 16). Lafayette has converted 273-of-347 from the stripe led by a 92-of-107 (86%) seasonal clip from Jared Mintz. Jim Mower is converting 39-of-44 (89%) while Ryan Willen is hitting for 81 percent (57-of-70). Lafayette shot 76 percent from the foul line last season, finishing eighth in the nation.

In the game against Navy, Mintz made all 10 of his free throw attempts. This season, Mintz has scored eight or more points from the line on seven occasions something he did six times last season including his first career 10-for-10 stint on Jan. 27, 2010 vs. Army.

Sophomore forward Mike Muscala is the standout player for the Bison and was the USBWA National Player of the Week this week. He led Bucknell to victories over Holy Cross and American while averaging 28 points, 11.5 rebonds and 4.0 blocked shots per outing. Classmate Joe Willman (7.7 ppg, 5.0 rpg) occupies the other spot in the frontcourt.
