HAMILTON, N.Y. - Lafayette wrapped up its 2015 campaign with a 3-0 sweep at the hands of playoff-bound Colgate. Set scores were 25-18, 25-18, 25-14.

The Raiders (12-15, 10-6 PL) will face top-seeded American in next weekend's Patriot League Tournament in Washington, D.C.
Colgate scored the first five points of the opening set, and went on to expand its advantage to 15-5 midway through. The Leopards made things interesting, winning 11 of the next 15 points, capped by back-to-back kills from Katherine Stevens, to reduce the deficit back down to 19-16. The lead remained three at 21-18, but the home team then claimed the next four points.
The Maroon and White kept up their strong play early in the second set, winning the first four points and jumping out to a 10-4 lead. The Raiders, though, chipped away, taking their first lead at 13-12 and slowly increasing that margin to double its set advantage. Lafayette's only lead in the final set came on a Manzi kill on the opening point.
Kathleen Harris supplied 13 kills for Colgate. She was the only player to reach double figures in that category. Meghan Donohue chipped in 11 digs for the Leopards.
Lafayette ends the 2015 season with an 11-16 record, including a 3-13 mark against Patriot League competition.
